If you could spend your days binge watching Netflix only taking breaks to eat, sleep and use the bathroom, then Lassie might be your soul mate. She's sitting here right now, binge watching Orange is the New Black. Oh wait, she paused it and wants to go to the bathroom. BRB......

Where were we? Oh yeah, you get the picture right? Perfect. Lassie's had an eventful life to date. Let me spare you the dramatic details and give you the high level overview. Lassie wandered the streets and woods for awhile, homeless. She then shacked up with some random dog and they scavenged together for a bit. You know the story, one thing led to another, and next thing you know Lassie's going through a teenage pregnancy, and still homeless. By the time she had the pups, she had a temporary home, and, literally, couldn't wait for the kids to leave the house. Meanwhile, she was separated from "random dog" friend (To be fair, I think he left as soon as she broke the pregnancy news to him), and needed a more permanent home and healthier routine. We don't judge here, we just listen.

Fast forward a couple of months and Lassie's recovering from heartworm from her wild "younger" years, trying to put the pieces of her life back together. She's decided she's grown. Now her life consists of fresh water, dog food, treats (on occasion), TV and sleeping with two, 9 year old twin girls.

So, if you read this far, and aren't hooked yet, let me just say that Lassie, for her age, is one of the most laid back dogs I've ever come across. She's very kid and people friendly, yearning for human companionship, and really doesn't ask a lot of her "people". She is dog selective (I think this is due to her "wild younger" years, but who knows), but does warm up with proper introductions. She's easy on a leash for walks, barks to let you know it's time to take her out and likes to relax (a lot)....
