Lexee was set to be euthanized on July 12th, 2018 at a high kill shelter in Texas. She is in severe pain, with a severe injury to her right rear leg and paw. We pulled her knowing that she would take some time and money to rehabilitate, but it's worth it. Every animal that we can pull off of the euthanasia list, and find him/her a great home where they will be treated like family is a great success story. Lexee, will be no different.

Currently, the preliminary diagnosis is that her leg will be amputated at the hip, but by watching the video, you can see, even with the amount of pain she is in, she's still a sweet dog. We are hoping that there's someone out there with enough love in their heart and room in their family for this sweet girl. Lexee is being fostered in a home where she is receiving all the good food and attention she deserves. She is gaining weight and strength and is scheduled for amputation of her leg on  Tuesday 07/24/2018.

We are still trying to raise enough funds to cover Lexee's costs. She has seen the vet, received x-rays, pain medication and antibiotics. She returns for her surgery and will be spayed at the same time. Then Lexee starts her road to recovery! Please consider helping this sweet girl.
